"New" floor

A few weeks ago, Jason discovered wood floors in our dining room underneath the lovely blue carpet, and two layers of vinyl nastiness.

Here is the before shot...
Sure, I think it makes sense to cover up the beautiful wood floors with this stuff...wouldn't you do the same?
The trim needs some work, and some areas of the floor are more worn than others, but we are happy with the results!

UH OH!

Guess who learned how to pull himself up?He thinks he is so cool!
The end table is his favorite spot - it is the perfect height and oftentimes Mommy leaves something sitting around for him to grab! If not, he can move down to the couch where there is always a pile of laundry to destroy.
So proud of himself!
He likes to pound on the table and yell!
For some reason I had to re-post the pictures in this blog...sorry if you missed them the first time!

Brady's First Baseball Game

Last week we went to Progressive Field to see the Indians vs. Red Sox. This was Brady's first Major League baseball experience...and it was cooooold! We all bundled up but Brady was the only one who was warm. He took a nap in the third inning but otherwise enjoyed the game. We wish we could have taken him to a Cubs game for his first time, but the Indians are okay too :) We hope to go back when it's a bit warmer!

We went to the kids area to warm up a few times - Brady loved driving this little vehicle! Yes, those are socks on his hands :)

Videos from Texas

Brady LOVED the doggies at Granny and Pawpaw's house. I love the belly laugh and little shrieks of joy in this video!

Granny taught Brady to wave!

Don't miss the post below this one...our pictures from Texas.

Our Trip to Granny and Pawpaw's House

We had a great trip last week to Sherman, Texas to visit Jason's Mom and Step-dad. Brady loved the time spent with his Granny and Pawpaw...it's quite possible he is now even more spoiled than he was before! We've had to knock him off his pedestal a time or two since we returned! We had a relaxing, easy time, doing a little shopping (Granny outfitted Brady for summer!), eating and eating, napping, playing with the doggies, and just spending time together. We even traveled to Oklahoma (a short drive) and Brady and I were able to meet Jason's foster parents, whom he lived with when he was a teenager. It was a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back. Here are a million pictures for you to enjoy!
