July, it's the month after June...

Here I am again...trying to catch up on blogs - I've made it to July, it's a miracle! Never mind that Brady turned 1 over two weeks ago...I will get there eventually!

July started off with a visit to Iowa...Brady and I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa for a week, and the whole family (minus Jason, boohoo!) went to my cousin's wedding in Iowa City. We spent two nights in a hotel and had a great time!

When we got back to Ohio, my brother Jeff, sis-in-law Erin, and their little boy stayed with us for a few days. It was so much fun! We played endless games of Settlers of Catan, stayed up way too late, and the boys had a blast playing together. (FYI, Jeff and Erin prefer pics of my nephew not to be on the internet, so that is why you never see pics of him...but take my word for it, he is CUTE!) :)

We had a birthday party for Brady one month early so that his cousins could come to the party! It was great...he devoured his cupcake in about 30 seconds.
See that lit candle? Yeah, he tried to grab it.
Addie just loves Brady...and she loves being the oldest...she is such a helper with the little kids!Swimming with Addie and Reese
These two shared Grandma's lap quite a bit!
Brady loved this vintage horsie...
He spent many hours sitting in the stroller on the patio just playing!
Gracie and Brady sharing...so cute.
Brady and I at Micah and Liz's wedding
Brady loved dancing! He started bopping around and shaking his little booty as soon as the music started.Jeff and Erin at the wedding...
Nathan and Shannon...
I think we had the most kids crammed into one table...five kids, seven adults, and two strollers.
Grandma and Grandpa took us out to dinner at a nice restaurant on the river.
Everybody loved the hotel pool! Especially these two little fishies!
We also took a trip to the Omaha Zoo
What is everyone looking at?
THIS!
HA HA HA HA...how appropriate!
This reminds me of someone...oh yeah, ME!
When we got back to Ohio, we celebrated my 31st birthday with a overnight trip to Cleveland. We went to the Cleveland Zoo and spent some time downtown.Brady playing in the hotel...looking mighty handsome in his grown up shirt! My boys all tuckered out.And then we were back home...home sweet home!
This is my first crop of tomatoes...We have so many at this point that I don't know what to do with them all? What else can you do with cherry tomatoes besides put them in salads? I am not a tomato person, so this is new to me!This is Brady's daily ritual...consequently, my nightly ritual involves putting them all back up on the shelf!Brady playing under the table during a game of Settlers with Jim and Lee...he played under there for about a 1/2 hour...too cute!Brady loves to wear his sunglasses! He wore them the entire time we were in Target - and received several compliments.
Playing with his cars
Chilling in daddy's chair
And that rounds out the month of July...coming up next, Brady's birthday!

There's a picture from the hotel of Owen and I sleeping in the same bed just like Jason and Brady! It's severely cute. For the tomatoes: Salsa, Marinara, spaghetti sauce, throwing at your husband.

Hey, I could be that gorilla too. I have enjoy this summer of being lazy and having no set routine, but it all ends today, other wise I might ending up going into work a little late on my first day (say noon).

Jonathan cuts up tomatoes and puts them on a sandwich with mayo, salt, and pepper. I think you really have to like tomatoes to eat them that way, though! Brady is getting so big! Cuteness!

My Dad would eat tomatoes on toast with a little mayo.
It certainly was a fantastic July because I got to see lots of that entertaining Brady.
