Weekend Update

We are a bit discombobulated in the Hubbie house right now...
...trying to pack up a house that we still live in
...dealing with piles of disorganization
...discussing why we have so much stuff
...observing that the littlest member of the household takes up the most space
...trying not to eat all the homemade cookies that are supposed to be for church
...rejoicing that Brady now consistently sleeps through the night
...packing and preparing for a trip to Dubuque from Tuesday to Sunday (just Mommy and Brady this time!)
...attempting to keep up with everyday chores like dishes, laundry, and grocery shopping
...wondering when life is going to slow down and give us a break?

I try sooooo hard to get a smile out of the boy and this is what I get back...

...a blank stare...

...a shifty gaze...

...I'm bored with you, mommy...
