Brady and I visited Emmaus last week. I had an alumni committee meeting, and also some on-campus work that needed to be done.
The rest of the time was spent playing! Grandpa and Grandma even visited over the weekend. Brady was a trooper on the plane; for both flights he took a bottle and then was lulled to sleep by the airplane white noise. He loved riding around in his stroller on our layover.
In Dubuque, he spent his days with Amanda. Which is weird, because I used to babysit her and now she's babysitting my kid.
I'm old. They did so well together; I missed him but I don't think he missed me that much! He also met a bunch of new friends. I think he very much enjoyed being admired and passed around.
Spoiled boy!
Jason spent the week packing up our apartment and moving the furniture and most of our things. He got so much accomplished, probably more than he would have if I was there barking over his shoulder.
Not that I ever do that. We still have some stuff left over at the apartment, but are pretty much moved in to our new home. I am in love with the new carpet. I am tempted to sleep on it.
...watch out, here come LOTS of pictures...
We stayed at the Johnson's in Amanda's room. Almost every night, this was the scene...

Our first night in Dubuque we had dinner with the Keiths. Garrett was a little jealous that his mommy spent so much time with Brady. That's fake sleep from Garrett but not from Brady...he was exhausted!

Lexi will be such a good mommy some day!
(I have no pictures of AJ. She wouldn't go near him) :)

Hanging out with Daddy's friend David

Snuggling and drooling on Grandpa.

Anna Kate LOVED Brady, or "Bwady"

We had lunch at the Glock's on Sunday afternoon. Dave cooked us up a delicious meal. It was a great time and one of the events that I miss most since moving to Ohio! I missed Melsie and knew she would have been proud of me for eating my green beans and sweet potatoes.

Dave entertaining us.

My husband would probably have been eating with this motley crew.

Later they formed a band

This used to be the "kids table" but I guess the kids are all grown up now!

Drooly Brady with Kristy

With Amanda, a terrific babysitter

Enjoying a snuggle with Auntie Linda

Somebody got a new hat! Someone else (mommy) got new carpet, and there it is!
Brady's new favorite spot in Mommy's office

Hopefully I'll be able to post a few pics of the house later on this week...depends on how much we get accomplished!

So glad Brady traveled so well. He is SO sleepy is so many of your pictures - I really miss those precious sleepy and cuddly days!
The Glock's little girl is getting so big. Wow! I think I saw Katie in New Hampshire when we were both pregnant? She looks a lot older than Matthew though. =)
