Weekend Update

It's hard to believe that fall is almost here; the weather we've been having is a great indicator that it's coming sooner rather than later! Of course fall brings MLB playoffs and the World Series...something the Hubbies are looking forward to as the Cubbies are looking better than ever! But I'm not sure I'm ready to be cooped up in a snowstorm just yet, so I hope summer holds out a bit longer.

We've been enjoying our time with our little man. He's such a joy - and generally an easy baby. He has his fussy moments but we can usually calm him down by picking him up - he loves to be held! He only cries when his diaper is being changed or when he's hungry. Oh, and when he is given a bath! Sometimes he gets mad when his dad insists on kissing him a zillion times with that stubble on his face. Mommy can relate. He's also been a great sleeper - we can usually get him down between 10 and 11 PM and then he will sleep until 2 or 3 AM and again until 5 or 6 AM. Jason has been taking the morning feeding which is a huge blessing!

We are still amazed at how much he poops. We are pretty sure he would win the gold if pooping was an Olympic sport.

Tomorrow is my first day back to "work"...I put that in quotations because I don't have to leave the house (yay for working from home!) and I'm only on light hours for the next two weeks. We will probably make a trip to the Haven of Rest this week to visit all of Brady's adoring fans.
