We've been doing pretty well here at home with our favorite little guy. My parents left on Saturday morning - we were so thankful for everything they did! My mom literally worked non-stop; changing diapers, cleaning, getting meals ready, and pampering me by letting me take naps. We miss grandma and grandpa but we are doing fine on our own - although it's only been one full day! Now Jason has to change diapers, clean, get meals ready, and pamper me :) It works out pretty well.
Our little man is a pooping machine - we are so surprised by how many diapers we go through! He eats well, about every three hours, and has us up for a midnight feeding, then 3 or 4 AM, then a 7 AM feeding so I really can't complain. He takes a bottle from Jason for the 7 AM feeding, so I can catch a few extra winks. He loves to be held, which is fine by us (for now!). We are so blessed with an easy baby (knock on wood).
I went back to the doctor on Friday and they finally put me on meds for my blood pressure. I've had a pretty consistent headache since we got home from the hospital and the doctor didn't like that. So for the next six weeks I am popping pills. They make me lightheaded and dizzy, and I'm not quite sure if that is better or worse than the headache!
Here are a few "firsts" and pictures from our week!
I found my thumb on my own!

First time in the Baby Bjorn, out for a walk! He barely fits but I'm sure he'll be breaking our backs very soon.

WARNING - poopy picture ahead!
First poopy blowout :)

First time in the swing

First time out to eat with mom, dad, grandpa, and grandma!

First time trying out my quilt from grandma

First time hanging out in the boppy (and he loves it!)

I fit so perfect in my boppy!
(Jason wants an adult size boppy, hahaha!)

First time meeting my girlfriend, Norah (and my friends Ian, Katie, and Camille!)
