Two weeks

...until our move to Akron!

Not counting today, I have 2 more Fridays left in my office at Emmaus Bible College...

I did a quick estimate, after working at Emmaus for 7 1/2 years, I have spent approximately 375 Fridays at this institution.

Starting November 1, my Fridays will be a little different. I have been given the great opportunity of working for Emmaus from home in Ohio. I will be dropping to part-time, and will be working only on Journey Magazine and the Iron Sharpens Iron Conference.

So, my office will be in our guest room, I won't have any fun co-workers to chat with (translation: more work will be accomplished, ha ha ha!), I won't have a coffee shop to visit and pick up my morning latte, I won't have students stopping by my office to say hi, I won't get to eat a yummy lunch in the dining hall...but, I will still be a part of the school that changed my life.

This is just one more way that we see God's hand in our decision to move to Ohio. Praise Him for his continual blessing and care over us! Jason and I are continually in awe of His amazing love. He has provided for us in so many ways.

"Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies." Psalm 36:5

That is great news! I know when we last met for lunch that you were hoping you could continue to work for Emmaus in OH. I'm so happy for you. I am sure you guys are anxious for the big move. Have you sold your home yet? We'll keep you in our prayers. Jen

I'm so glad the Angie DePartment will continue to be in capable hands! Isn't it thrilling to see God's plans unfold!

yes, no one seems to care about my opinions on anything, they just want to see mase. not that i will stop giving my opinions since this is the one place i get to shove them down peoples throats, but the mase blogs will definitely keep coming. =)

I can't believe you're almost done with that job! It's pretty sweet that you're still keeping it long distance, but how strange to not be on campus anymore. I hope your move goes well...we are so excited for you two. we'll have to come visit your guestroom/office someday.

What...you're moving?! I just thought that if I pretended it wasn't happening, you wouldn't move. 2 weeks does not seem like very long...that makes me sad:(

Angie: So sorry I didn't get to see you when we were both in Atlantic! I didn't see your post until it was too late! Good luck in OH, and how exciting that you get to keeping doing what you know best! You will have to let us know how things are going!
