Our Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful, busy weekend with family and friends! We took in a Cubs game, finished our invitations, did some shopping, just to mention a few, and are now exhausted! I also came to the stunning realization that our wedding is two months from today. We can't wait to be married!

Friday morning started off with a little pampering...my friend and bridesmaid, Kimmie, treated me to a pedicure - it was a great stress reliever! Here is the finished product. We then headed to Milwaukee for the Cubs vs. Brewers game at Miller Park with our baseball buddies, Jim and Kathy Van Dine. It was COLD! (thankfully Miller Park has a retractable roof!)We had an awesome dinner at Texas Roadhouse
Kathy and I went down to the field to check out the action at batting practice. The Cubs won, it was a great game!
The next day we headed to Atlantic for Easter. Our first project was invitations. Here is the invitation stuffing, addressing, and stamping team: Linda, Amanda, and Mom! Awesome job, ladies!
Here is a photo of us on Easter morning
(We didn't both plan to wear black, it just worked out that way!)
Of course Addie and Reese, the little balls of energy, had their Aunt Angie jumping on the bed (don't tell grandma!) and playing Peter Pan. Never a dull moment!
Love these babes! (Notice their "innocent" looks?)
