"Fake" New Year's Eve and a cute little newborn!

Welcome 2007, the year of our wedding! The countdown begins...5 months until our wedding! It is fast approaching and yet it seems so far away!

We spent New Year's Eve on December 27th...no, that is not a typo! In years past, it has been the DeArment tradition to spend New Year's Eve with the Johnson family. This year, Jason and I couldn't stay in Atlantic until December 31st, so instead we celebrated with a "fake" New Year's Eve party on the 27th. We played cards and ate waaaaaay too much food...a very typical celebration for us!

Our friends Ben and Jenna Mathew welcomed their son, Elias James, on December 30. We had plans to spend the actual New Year's Eve with the Mathew's but didn't mind it one bit that our plans were cancelled! Here's a photo of Elias and Mommy, and Elias with his favorite friend (ME!)
Exciting events are approaching in 2007! Jason and I are so excited for what the Lord has planned for us this year. We are thankful for His faithfulness and loving care, and most especially, we praise Him for our salvation and assurance of everlasting life through Jesus Christ!
